We are thrilled to welcome you to Explore the Movement Pilates! 

Here’s everything you need to know about how our memberships work, explained in simple language for easy understanding.

THE REFORMER REFRESH - 1 CLASS PER WEEK

This is a recurring membership billed weekly through direct debit via Stripe. 
- Cost: $22.50 per week.
- Minimum commitment: 8 weeks after a 7-day cooling-off period.
- Total: $180.00 over 8 weeks.

After the initial 8 weeks, you can cancel at any time by emailing us at [email protected], providing 7 days' written notice. 

By joining, you agree to our terms and confirm that you have read and understood how everything works.

- Enjoy a birthday bonus class during your birthday month. You need to have your birthdate entered into our system to claim this.
- Your membership will auto-renew each week on your term anniversary.

Getting Started
To sign up for a membership, you will need to:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Live in Australia.
- Have an active account with our current booking system.
- Choose and purchase one of our membership options.

Key Membership Information
When you sign up, you will select the date you want your membership to begin. Your first weekly payment will be processed during the week your membership starts. After payment, each week you will receive class credits according to your membership level. Please note that bookings are essential and unused credits will not roll over.

Your membership is valid only at our Idalia studio, cannot be transferred to another person, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Additionally, you can only hold one active membership at a time, and memberships are limited to adults (18 years and older). Children listed on your account are NOT eligible for memberships.

Cooling-Off Period
You have 7 days from the day you sign up to cancel during your cooling-off period. No questions asked. If you wish to cancel, please email us at [email protected] within 7 days. We will cancel your membership and refund you for any unused sessions (less a $15 admin fee). Any remaining class credits will be removed from your account.

Payments and Failed Payments
Membership fees are automatically charged to your nominated credit card or debit card, so please ensure there are sufficient funds available each week. If your payment fails, we will attempt to process it again, and you may incur a dishonor fee based on our payment provider. Additionally, your bank may charge a dishonor fee.

If your card details change, please update them before your next payment is due. Your booking access may be paused until the payment issues are resolved. We reserve the right to cancel your membership and refer any outstanding balance to a collection agency.

Cancelling Your Membership
You can cancel during the first 7 days of your membership within the cooling-off period. After this period, you are locked in for 8 weeks. If you decide to cancel after 8 weeks, please notify us via email at [email protected] with 7 days' written notice. At this time, you can choose to switch to another membership or purchase passes. There are NO cancellation fees if your account is in good standing when you cancel or switch memberships. However, if your membership fees are unpaid when you request to cancel, payment will be required before we proceed with the cancellation. We will refund you for any unused sessions (less the $15 admin fee), and any remaining class credits will be removed from your account.

Cancelling/pausing due to Illness or Injury
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need to stop attending classes due to a long-term injury or illness, please contact us by emailing [email protected]. We may request a medical certificate confirming that you cannot attend group Reformer Pilates classes. Once we receive this certificate, we will happily pause your membership until you can return. Your medical certificate will need to stipulate the date you can return to classes so that we can add this to the system correctly. Any unused credits at the time of cancelling/pausing in that week will not be refunded.

Membership Pauses
You can pause your membership for other personal reasons (eg: holidays/travelling for work) for up to 4 weeks total in any calendar year & can be split up during the calendar year depending on circumstances. You can pause your membership for a total of 2 weeks within the 8-week lock-in period if required. This constitutes 2 of the 4 weeks' maximum allowable pauses for personal reasons. Please notify us via email at [email protected] so that we can pause your membership for you. Any unused credits at the time of pausing in that week will not be refunded. 4-week pauses do not roll over into a new calendar year, and they do not accumulate.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, without notice.

The membership must start between Dec 26, 2025 and Dec 26, 2027
